MANAGEMENT SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT

INTERCOUNTY PAVING ASSOCIATES, L.L.C. management is committed to the safety of each and every employee. There is no place at INTERCOUNTY PAVING ASSOCIATES, L.L.C. for an employee who will not work safely or who will endanger the safety of his/her fellow workers. It is essential that all Managers and Supervisors insist on the maximum safety performance and awareness of all employees under their direction, by enthusiastically and consistently administering all safety rules and regulations.

An aggressive injury and illness prevention effort is a key accountability factor for every Manager, Supervisor and Employee. Safety, quality and productivity go hand in hand. To be effective, the Safety Program & Procedures Manual must apply process controls similar to those that are used to maintain the superior quality and serviceability of INTERCOUNTY PAVING ASSOCIATES, L.L.C., in everyday work schedule.

Prevention of injuries and illnesses is consistent with sound management practices and optimum employee relations. Injuries and illness result in lost work days, physical disability, pain and suffering, loss of earnings, equipment damage and poor quality product which has a direct and indirect effect on productivity and profitability. A formal Safety & Health Program combined with safe working conditions and good housekeeping controls are essential tools in achieving the goals of INTERCOUNTY PAVING ASSOCIATES, L.L.C. which are maximum productivity, superior quality and increased profits.

The following INTERCOUNTY PAVING ASSOCIATES, L.L.C. Safety Policy is in effect in order to provide and maintain safe and healthful working conditions and to provide operating practices which will result in efficient operations.
